Al-Ahly Club has finalized its position regarding the circulating news about its desire to recruit Osama Nour El-Din, the star midfielder of the Wydad de Fès team, during the upcoming winter transfer window in January, after his name was strongly circulated within the corridors of the Red Castle recently.
The journalist “Amir Hisham” revealed the details of the situation within the planning department at Al-Jazira. He explained that the contracts committee had indeed been monitoring the young player over the past weeks and had gathered positive technical reports praising his physical and technical abilities and his potential to strengthen the team’s midfield. However, this praise did not go beyond mere observation.
Media reports confirmed that Al-Ahly has not made any official offer, nor has it opened direct channels of communication with the officials of Wydad Casablanca so far. This is due to the emergence of a strong current within the football management that sees the necessity of being patient, preferring not to add more players from the Moroccan league at the moment, and settling for the names already included in the team’s roster to avoid exhausting the foreign player slots.
The current scene ends with Al-Ahly officials dismissing the idea of completing the deal in the winter transfer window, leaving the file of Osama Nour El-Din as merely a postponed technical observation and completely excluded from the club’s official priorities at the moment, making the talk about him donning the red jersey unfounded in reality.
