ووفقًا لما أوردته شبكة “سكاي سبورتس” الألمانية، أرسل مسؤولو برشلونة كشافًا خاصًا إلى مدرجات مواجهة شتوتجارت وفايكنج ستافانجر لإعداد تقرير مفصل حول أداء اللاعب البالغ من العمر عشرين عامًا، والذي نال إشادة واسعة بفضل بنيته الجسدية القوية البالغة 1.88 مترًا وتمركزه المتقن.

وتأتي تحركات برشلونة بطلب مباشر من المدرب هانزي فليك، الساعي لضخ دماء جديدة في عمق الخط الخلفي عبر عناصر تمتلك جودة فنية وتكتيكية عالية. ومع توالي المستويات اللافتة للمدافع الشاب محليًا وقاريًا، قفزت قيمته السوقية مؤخرًا لتلامس حاجز 45 مليون يورو.
