The management of Zamalek club opened fire on arbitration after the end of the last summit confrontation in front of Al-Ahly, stressing that it will not stand idly by in front of what it described as the influential mistakes that changed the course of the meeting and harmed the White team.
In statements about the “game and Tale” program presented by the journalist Karim Ramzi on the air of mega FM radio, Maher Gharib, Director of the media system at Zamalek club, revealed the intention of the administration to exhaust all legal means and paths to protect the rights of the club, stressing that the file will not be closed as a passing event.
During his speech, Gharib pointed out the expected moves that may include coordination with the referees committee to draft a video-supported Technical Report on the controversial cases, directing it to the Slovenian football federation to brief him on what happened during the meeting and evaluate the performance of the referee staff.
The White position did not stop at waving complaints, as Zamalek’s media director stressed that he is waiting for an official apology from the arbitration officials for the facts that witnessed the match. He also criticized the criteria for appointing crews for major matches, pointing out that there are explicit reservations on some names and officials within the referees committee, with the possibility of demanding their dismissal if the system continues with the same approach without a real review.
