فتحت التطورات القانونية التي تحيط بمانشستر سيتي باب التكهنات واسعاً حول مستقبل أبرز نجومه، وعلى رأسهم الحارس الإيطالي “جيانلويجي دوناروما”، الذي بات مرشحاً لدخول دائرة اهتمامات كبار القارة في حال توقيع عقوبات قاسية على ناديه الإنجليزي نتيجة التحقيقات الجارية بشأن اللعب المالي النظيف.

ورغم أن إدارة السيتي تواصل نفي الاتهامات وتستعد للطعن بكل قوة، فإن المؤشرات الحالية تشير إلى أن الحديث عن خروج وشيك للنجوم ما زال سابقاً لأوانه، حيث لم يحسم الحارس موقفه النهائي حتى الآن، وكان دوناروما قد التحق بصفوف السيتي قادماً من باريس سان جيرمان في صفقة بلغت قيمتها قرابة (26 مليون جنيه إسترليني)، ليجذب أنظار عدة أندية مثل مانشستر يونايتد وتشيلسي، فضلاً عن مراقبة مستمرة من بايرن ميونيخ، يوفنتوس، وإنتر ميلان.

ولكن التقارير ترجح أن ريال مدريد يملك الأفضلية الأكبر لضم الحارس الدولي الإيطالي حال خروجه إلى سوق الانتقالات، ويسعى النادي الملكي لتأمين بديل استراتيجي للبلجيكي “تيبو كورتوا” مستقبلاً، معتمداً على خبرات دوناروما القارية وقدرة الإدارة المدريدية على تلبية شروطه المالية، وحتى الآن يبقى هذا السيناريو معلقاً، إذ ينصب تركيز مانشستر سيتي على قضيته الأساسية دون اتخاذ أي قرار بشأن مصير كوادره الأساسية في الفريق.
