Zamalek club officials have resolved the controversy surrounding the future of the Palestinian striker “Uday al-Dabbagh”, following press reports that one of the Qatari clubs wants to sign him during the current Mercato.
An official source inside Zamalek club stated in his statements that the club has not received any official addresses or even friendly inquiries from the Qatari side to obtain the player’s services, confirming the inaccuracy of rumors circulating recently, and stressed the adherence of the management and the technical staff to the basic structure of the team, and not to give up on the main pillars at the moment due to the multiple engagements and challenges awaiting the team, whether at the local or continental level.
The technical management has its sights on maintaining the cohesion of the squad during the current season, especially since Zamalek is in fierce competitions in the Premier League, the Egyptian Cup, the African Champions League, as well as the Egyptian capital Cup, which requires the readiness of its full offensive elements, and it is reported that Uday Dabbagh is associated with the White Castle with a valid contract for three seasons, and forms a prominent offensive pillar in the plans of the coaching staff for the coming period.
