لم تنتهي فصول الإثارة التي صاحبت ديربي العاصمة الإسبانية مع إطلاق صافرة النهاية، بل انتقلت شرارتها سريعاً إلى الفضاء الرقمي، حيث فتحت المنصات الرسمية لنادي أتلتيكو مدريد باب الجدل مجدداً بسخرية لاذعة استهدفت الجار اللدود ريال مدريد.

وبدأت القصة حين أعلن الجهاز الفني للملكي عن قائمة الفريق المتجهة لخوض مواجهة فياريال ضمن منافسات الليغا، لتفجر المفاجأة الكبرى بظهور اسم النجم الأوروغوياني فيديريكو فالفيردي ضمن الأسماء المستدعاة. هذا التواجد أثار دهشة الأوساط الرياضية، خاصة وأن اللاعب غادر مواجهة الديربي التي أقيمت يوم 20 سبتمبر متأثراً بتدخل عنيف من كانغ إن لي، وسط تقارير طبية أكدت حينها معاناته من التواء حاد في الكاحل من الدرجة الثالثة يستوجب فترة نقاهة أطول بكثير.

ولم يتأخر رد فعل الروخيبلانكوس، إذ ألمحت حساباتهم الرسمية بدهشة مشوبة بالسخرية إلى الوتيرة الخارقة التي تعافى بها متوسط ميدان الميرنغي بعد انخراطه السريع في تدريبات فالديبيباس الجماعية، واصفة سرعة الشفاء بأنها خارجة عن المألوف في مثل هذه الإصابات المعقدة، ورغم أن تواجد فالفيردي في القائمة يمنح المدرب دفعة معنوية وفنية كبيرة قبل موقعة فياريال، إلا أن الشكوك ما زالت تحوم حول إمكانية الدفع به أساسياً أو الاكتفاء بالاحتفاظ به كورقة رابحة على دكة البدلاء تجنباً لأي انتكاسة مبكرة.
