فجّر “خوان جاسبارت” الرئيس الأسبق لنادي برشلونة الإسباني، موجة جديدة من الجدل الرياضي بعد توجيهه انتقادات لاذعة لقائد الفريق التاريخي “ليونيل ميسي”، وذلك على خلفية الأنباء المتداولة حول رفض النجم الأرجنتيني فكرة إقامة حفل تكريم رسمي له داخل معقل الفريق، ملعب سبوتيفاي كامب نو، طالما استمر خوان لابورتا على رأس مجلس الإدارة.

وأوضح جاسبارت، الذي تولى قيادة النادي الكتالوني في مطلع الألفية، أنه رغم إقراره الكامل بالمكانة الفنية الفريدة لميسي بصفته اللاعب الأبرز عالميًا، إلا أن كيان برشلونة يظل دائمًا وأبدًا فوق أي اعتبار شخصي. وأشار إلى ضرورة أن يتذكر النجم الأرجنتيني البدايات وفضل النادي الحقيقي في صناعة مجده الكروي وتمهيد طريقه نحو اعتلاء عرش كرة القدم العالمية.

وأستنكر المسؤول الكتالوني السابق فكرة ربط وداع الجماهير بالخلافات مع الإدارة الحالية، مبديًا دهشته من اشتراط رحيل لابورتا لتنظيم هذه المناسبة، وأكد في حديثه أنه سيمتنع شخصيًا عن حضور أي فعالية تكريمية إذا ثبت بالفعل صحة وضع ميسي لمثل هذه الشروط التي تجعل اسم الرئيس عائقًا أمام توديع المدرجات التي ساندته لسنوات.

وأختتم جاسبارت حديثه بمفارقة عائلية لافتة تعكس التحول بين الأجيال؛ إذ أشار إلى أن أحفاده فضّلوا طباعة اسم الموهبة الصاعدة لامين يامال على قمصانهم الرياضية بدلاً من قميص أسطورة الفريق السابقة، الأمر الذي دفعه لتوضيح القيمة التاريخية للبرغوث الأرجنتيني وما قدمه للساحرة المستديرة.
