وجّه فريق زد ضربة قوية لنادي الزمالك وتغلب عليه بثلاثة أهداف دون مقابل، في المواجهة التي جمعت بينهما مساء اليوم على أرضية استاد المقاولون العرب، ضمن منافسات الجولة الأولى لدور المجموعات من بطولة كأس عاصمة مصر.

وفرض زد إيقاعه على مجريات اللقاء، وترجم أفضليته إلى أهداف حاسمة بدأت قبل نهاية الشوط الأول، وتحديداً عند الدقيقة 40 عن طريق مروان حجيج. ومع انطلاق النصف الثاني، واصل الفريق هجومه ليعزز تقدمه بهدفين متتاليين حملا توقيع أحمد عاطف في الدقيقتين 53 و55، ليحسم اللقاء مبكراً لصالح فريقه.

وبهذه النتيجة، حصد زد أول ثلاث نقاط ثمينة تضعه في موقع متقدم منذ البداية، فيما تعقدت حسابات الفارس الأبيض مبكراً في المجموعة الأولى، والتي تضم إلى جانبهما كلاً من طلائع الجيش، والاتحاد السكندري، ووادي دجلة.

ZED FC secured an emphatic 3-0 win over Zamalek tonight at the Arab Contractors Stadium, kicking off the group stage of the Egypt Capital Cup with a major upset.

ZED took control late in the first half when Marwan Hajjaj broke the deadlock in the 40th minute. Shortly after the break, Ahmed Atef doubled the damage with a quickfire brace in the 53rd and 55th minutes, putting the game completely out of reach for the White Knights.

The result earns ZED their first three points of the tournament, leaving Zamalek with an uphill battle in Group A, which also features Tala’ea El Gaish, Al Ittihad Alexandria, and Wadi Degla.
