The sports Street in Tunisia is living in a state of great anticipation and anxiety among the fans of sports begging, against the backdrop of the stalled arrival of the Spaniard “Pablo Franco” to take over the technical leadership of the team “Bab Sweika”, succeeding the Romanian “Laurencio regekampf”, who unexpectedly left to lead Steaua Bucharest after passing only 4 rounds of the Tunisian league.
Although the club’s management headed by “Hamdi Al-madb” settled its initial agreement with the Spanish coach, who was crowned with the Moroccan league title with Morocco last season, to take charge and lead the preparations to face Olympic Beji in the league and then meet the Libyan Swehli on the continent, but the deadline for his arrival last Sunday passed without his appearance in the capital Tunis.
This sudden absence and exceeding the deadline by two full days opened the door wide to a torrent of speculation, as there were reports of financial disputes over the annual salary, in addition to the coach’s insistence on refusing to have any local technical element among his staff, which threatened to collapse the deal in its final hours.
On the other hand, the data coming from the corridors of the club indicate that Franco sought a short delay to arrange some private family matters in Spain before traveling, a justification that did not dispel the fans ‘ fears via social media platforms, and the begging department is now looking forward to Wednesday as a crucial deadline for the coach to attend and officially sign contracts, with immediate readiness to open alternative files in case the completion of the agreement falters.
