تحولت ليلة النجم البرتغالي “كريستيانو رونالدو” الهادئة خارج المستطيل الأخضر إلى مادة دسمة للمزاح على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، وذلك عقب فوز منتخب بلاده على النرويج بنتيجة هدفين مقابل هدف ضمن منافسات دوري الأمم الأوروبية.

فقد انتهزت شركة الطيران الأيرلندية “رايان إير” فرصة غياب رونالدو التام عن اللقاء لتنشر تدوينة طريفة عبر حساباتها الرسمية، مفادها: “إذا كان رونالدو يستطيع الجلوس على مقاعد البدلاء لمدة 90 دقيقة، فأنت أيضًا تستطيع”، ويعد هذا النمط من المنشورات جزءًا من النهج التسويقي المعتاد للشركة، التي اعتادت استغلال الأحداث الكروية الكبرى والشخصيات اللامعة لجذب التفاعل وإثارة الجدل.

وكانت المواجهة قد شهدت تسجيل هدفي البرتغال بواسطة جواو فيليكس وجونزالو راموس، مقابل هدف وحيد للنرويج أحرزه إرلينغ هالاند. ورغم سخونة مجريات اللقاء، فضل المدرب عدم الدفع بقائده طوال الدقائق التسعين، مرجعًا ذلك إلى أسباب تكتيكية ورؤية فنية بحتة فرضها سير المباراة.
