وجه “جيمي كاراجر” أسطورة ليفربول والمحلل الرياضي الحالي، سهام انتقاداته اللاذعة نحو إدارة مانشستر سيتي والمدير الفني “بيب جوارديولا”، على خلفية التطورات المتسارعة في ملف الاتهامات المالية التاريخية الموجهة ضد النادي السماوي.

وجاءت هذه التصريحات الحادة بعد ثبوت إدانة السيتي في غالبية القضايا المالية التي حركتها رابطة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، والتي شملت الامتناع عن تقديم بيانات مالية دقيقة على مدار نحو عقد كامل، إلى جانب إخفاء التفاصيل الحقيقية لعقد المدرب الأسبق روبرتو مانشيني، في انتظار تحديد حجم العقوبة النهائية عبر لجنة التحكيم المستقلة.

وقد شدد كاراجر في حديثه على أن العقوبات التقليدية المتداولة إعلاميا، مثل خصم النقاط الذي يقود إلى هبوط الفريق لموسم واحد فقط، تبدو غير كافية بالمرة ولا تتناسب مع حجم الخروقات، وأوضح المدافع الإنجليزي السابق أن غياب السيتي لعام وحيد لن يؤثر على استقراره، إذ قد يعتبرها بعض النجوم فرصة للبقاء وبناء شعبية جارفة لدى الجماهير، قبل الصعود مجددا بكل سهولة.

ويرى محلل شبكة “سكاي سبورتس” أن الحل العادل يكمن في إبعاد النادي عن أضواء الدوري الممتاز لفترة تتراوح بين ثلاث إلى خمس سنوات، وهو ما سيجبر النجوم على مغادرة الفريق، بالإضافة إلى فرض أزمة مالية حقيقية تحرم الإدارة من ضخ عوائد البث التلفزيوني الخيالية، مما يفرض عليهم الالتزام بميزانيات مقيدة وصارمة.

ولم تسلم ملاك النادي من انتقادات كاراجر، حيث أكد ضرورة رحيلهم فورا في حال استقرار الإدانات القضائية، مشيرا إلى أن إدارات الأندية ذات النفوذ المالي والسياسي الهائل نادرا ما تعترف بأخطائها، بل تلجأ دائما للعب دور الضحية والمماطلة القانونية، الأمر الذي يدفع نزاهة كرة القدم برمتها نحو حافة الهاوية.

والجانب الأبرز في هجوم كاراجر استهدف مباشرة المدرب الإسباني بيب جوارديولا؛ إذ استحضر تصريحاته السابقة عام 2022 حين لوح بالاستقالة إذا ثبت كذب الإدارة عليه، قبل أن يتراجع لاحقا ويعلن بقاءه حتى وإن هبط النادي. واختتم كاراجر متسائلا باستنكار عن مدى براءة جوارديولا التامة، مؤكدا أن تواصله اليومي والمستمر مع صناع القرار في النادي يثير الشكوك حول جهله بحقيقة ما كان يدور خلف الكواليس.
