أعلن نادي آرسنال الإنجليزي عن خطوة حاسمة لترسيخ استقراره الفني، بتوقيع مدربه الإسباني “ميكيل أرتيتا” على عقد جديد يمتد لأربعة مواسم إضافية، ليواصل قيادة الدفة الفنية في ملعب الإمارات حتى صيف 2030.

وجاء هذا التجديد مدعوماً بقفزة مالية ملحوظة في راتب المدرب البالغ من العمر 44 عاماً، ليرتقي إلى مصاف أعلى المدربين دخلاً في الكرة الإنجليزية، بعدما كان راتبه السنوي السابق يقارب (15 مليون جنيه إسترليني) مع الحوافز. وتعد هذه الخطوة مكافأة واضحة للمدرب بعد قيادته الفريق للتتويج بلقب الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز في موسمه الكامل السادس، وهو الإنجاز الغائب عن خزائن النادي منذ نحو 22 عاماً.

وفي تعليقه على التجديد، قال ميكيل أرتيتا: “الفريق لا يزال في بداية ما يمكننا تحقيقه معًا خلال المواسم المقبلة”، ومن جهته، شدد “ريتشارد جارليك” الرئيس التنفيذي لنادي آرسنال، على قيمة هذه الشراكة قائلاً: “هذه لحظة مهمة في تاريخ نادي آرسنال، نريد أن نصنع حقبة من الانتصارات مع ميكيل”.

وتعكس الأرقام حجم العمل الاستثنائي الذي قدمه أرتيتا منذ وصوله عام 2019؛ إذ خاض 361 مباراة بجميع المسابقات محققاً نسبة فوز وصلت إلى 62.05%، وهي النسبة الأعلى لأي مدرب دائم عبر تاريخ النادي. وقد بدأ رحلته بحصد لقب كأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي في أشهره الأولى، قبل أن يعيد الفريق للمنافسة بقوة على كل الجبهات.

The English club Arsenal announced a decisive step to consolidate its technical stability, with the signing of its Spanish coach “Mikel Arteta” to a new contract that extends for four more seasons, to continue to lead the technical helm at the Emirates Stadium until the summer of 2030.

This renewal was supported by a significant financial jump in the salary of the 44-year-old coach, to rise to the rank of the highest-earning coaches in English football, after his previous annual salary was close to (15 million pounds sterling) with incentives. The move is a clear reward for the coach after he led the team to the Premier League title in his sixth full season, an achievement that has been absent from the club’s coffers for almost 22 years.

Commenting on the renewal, Mikel Arteta said: “the team is still at the beginning of what we can achieve together in the coming seasons,” for his part, Arsenal CEO Richard Garlick stressed the value of this partnership, saying: “This is an important moment in the history of Arsenal, we want to create an era of victories with Mikel.

The figures reflect the extraordinary amount of work that Arteta has put in since his arrival in 2019; he has played 361 matches in all competitions, achieving a winning percentage of 62.05%, the highest percentage of any permanent coach in the club’s history. He started his journey by winning the FA Cup in his first few months, before bringing the team back to compete strongly on all fronts.
