هل تراجع الكاف عن إقامة كأس الأمم الإفريقية كل 4 سنوات؟
تتجه الأنظار هذه الأيام نحو جزيرة سال في الرأس الأخضر، حيث يحتضن مؤتمر استراتيجية الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم نقاشات ساخنة قد تعيد رسم خارطة المسابقات القارية برمتها، والحدث الذي يشهد حضور رئيس الاتحاد الدولي “جياني إنفانتينو” ورئيس كاف “باتريس موتسيبي”، إلى جانب مدير التطوير بالفيفا آرسين فينغر وجمع من مسؤولي الاتحادات ومدربي القارة، يشهد تحولات مفاجئة وغير متوقعة.
وبحسب ما كشفته صحيفة “الجارديان” البريطانية فقد وضعت اللجنة التنفيذية لكاف خيار التراجع عن إقامة كأس أمم إفريقيا كل 4 سنوات على رأس جدول أعمالها، بعد أن كانت الهيئة القارية قد استقرت مسبقا على هذا التوجه ليبدأ تطبيقه الفعلي بعد نسخة 2028، والمقترح المفاجئ يقضي بالعودة الفورية إلى النظام التاريخي للبطولة لتُقام مجددا كل سنتين، وجاء هذا التحرك بدفع مباشر من إنفانتينو وبمباركة من موتسيبي.
وهذا التحول السريع لا ينفصل عن صراع النفوذ المشتعل بين الفيفا والاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم يويفا؛ فالأخير كان يدفع بقوة نحو نظام السنوات الأربع لتخفيف الأعباء عن الأندية الأوروبية وتجنب الصدامات المتكررة مع المنتخبات الإفريقية بسبب غياب اللاعبين لأسابيع طويلة في منتصف الموسم، غير أن الحسابات الحالية داخل أروقة صناع القرار تشير إلى أن الدفاع عن خصوصية المسابقة الإفريقية ومكتسباتها التسويقية والتنافسية بات يتقدم على ضغوط القارة العجوز.
وفي الوقت الحالي تظل نسخة 2027 في ضيافة الملف المشترك لكل من تنزانيا وكينيا وأوغندا قائمة كما هي، متبوعة بنسخة 2028، بينما يبقى مصير الموعد التالي معلقا بانتظار ما ستسفر عنه قرارات جزيرة سال، وما إذا كان كاف سيحسم رسميا عودة العرس الإفريقي إلى وتيرته المعتادة كل عامين.
