قطع نادي برشلونة الإسباني الطريق تماماً أمام كبار أندية الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، بعدما حسم اتفاقه النهائي لتحصين إحدى أبرز مواهبه الشابة وربطها بمشروع النادي لسنوات طويلة قادمة.

وبحسب ما أوردته صحيفة “سبورت” الإسبانية، نجحت إدارة البلوجرانا في التوصل إلى اتفاق رسمي لتمديد عقد لاعب الوسط الواعد “مارك بيرنال” حتى صيف 2031، في خطوة تعكس الثقة الكبيرة التي يضعها النادي في إمكانياته الفنية والبدنية، وتأتي هذه الخطوة لتمنح بيرنال تجديداً ثانياً لعقده في غضون عام واحد فقط، متضمناً تعديلاً شاملاً في راتبه السنوي ليتناسب مع وضعه كعنصر دائم داخل الفريق الأول، وتقديراً للمستويات المميزة التي قدمها مع الفريق الكتالوني.

ثقة فليك ورهان المستقبل

وقد لعب المدير الفني الألماني هانزي فليك دوراً محورياً في حسم مصير اللاعب الشاب؛ إذ عقد معه جلسة خاصة أوضح له خلالها مكانته داخل مشروعه الرياضي، مؤكداً أنه يمثل مستقبل خط وسط برشلونة. ورغم تعاقد النادي مع الإسباني رودري، نجح فليك في إقناع بيرنال بأن وجود نجم بقيمة وخبرة رودري سيمثل فرصة استثنائية لصقل موهبته وتطوير مستواه عن قرب، مع ضمان حصوله على مساحة وافرة من دقائق اللعب والمداورة.

وكان بيرنال قد استغل غياب الهولندي فرينكي دي يونج بداعي الإصابة ليفرض نفسه كخيار دفاعي موثوق في منتصف الملعب، بعدما لفت الأنظار بجاهزيته وتألقه خلال مرحلة الإعداد التي سبقت الموسم، وصولاً إلى دخوله ضمن القائمة الأولية للمنتخب الإسباني في المحفل المونديالي الأخير.

والتحرك السريع من إدارة برشلونة جاء رداً مباشراً على اهتمام شرس من أندية النخبة الأوروبية فور إتمام صفقة رودري؛ حيث فتحت أندية ليفربول ومانشستر يونايتد وتشيلسي قنوات اتصال مكثفة للظفر بخدمات اللاعب، بالتزامن مع استفسار رسمي من أتلتيكو مدريد لبحث إمكانية ضمه، إلا أن موقف الإدارة الكتالونية كان حاسماً برفض مناقشة أي عروض لرحيله، مفضلة تحصينه بعقد طويل الأمد يضمن استقراره الفني، ويغلق الباب نهائياً أمام طموحات المتربصين به قبل فتح نافذة الانتقالات الشتوية في يناير المقبل.

According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, the belograna management succeeded in reaching an official agreement to extend the contract of the promising midfielder “Mark Bernal” until the summer of 2031, in a move that reflects the great confidence that the club places in his technical and physical capabilities, and this step comes to give Bernal a second renewal of his contract in just one year, including a comprehensive adjustment in his annual salary to suit his status as a permanent element within the first team, and in recognition of the distinctive levels he provided with the Catalan team.

Flick’s confidence and bet on the future

German technical director Hans Fleck played a pivotal role in deciding the fate of the young player, as he held a special session with him during which he explained his place within his sports project, stressing that he represents the future of the Barcelona midfield. Despite the club’s contract with the Spaniard Rodri, flick managed to convince Bernal that the presence of a star with the value and experience of Rodri would represent an exceptional opportunity to hone his talent and develop his level closely, while ensuring that he got plenty of playing minutes and rotation.

Bernal had taken advantage of the absence of Dutchman Frankie De Jong due to injury to impose himself as a reliable defensive option in midfield, after drawing attention to his readiness and brilliance during the pre-season preparation phase, leading to his entry into the preliminary list of the Spanish national team at the last World Cup forum.

The rapid move from the Barcelona management came in direct response to fierce interest from elite European clubs immediately after the completion of the Rhodri deal, as the Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea clubs opened intensive communication channels to win the player’s services, in conjunction with an official inquiry from Atletico Madrid to discuss the possibility of joining him, but the position of the Catalan management was decisive by refusing to discuss any offers for his departure, preferring to fortify him with a long-term contract that guarantees his technical stability, and finally closes the door to the ambitions of those waiting for him before the opening of the winter transfer window next January.
